The Bestie Test

 

I’M TELLING YOU THIS BECAUSE I CARE.

When you’re not communicating authentically, you’re selling yourself short and making life more difficult than it has to be. It wastes time, it’s confusing, frustrating and I’m sure it’s bad for your skin. I’m no scientist so I’m just hypothesising on that last point, but I bet we could do a deep dive and prove it correct.

The heart wants what it wants. No one gets to tell you how you feel, or what you need.

When we honour our feelings and instincts, we're in alignment with our true selves, and everything flows much more easily.

Whatever situation is happening, and however you feel like you're about to respond - just imagine real quick if your best friend was with you, how would you be talking to HER about it.

Would you be rolling your eyes, would you be trash-talking the situation/the people and being like, "OMG I really don't feel like doing this." or "OMG this is such trash, I cannot believe this person is treating me this way, expecting this of me."

However you would instinctively relay it to your bestie, that's your authentic response.

Now.... if you can bring that authentic response to the situation, you're honouring yourself, your true nature and your instincts, and you're going to feel a hell of a lot better, trust me.

REAL TALK ONLY

It's like flexing a muscle. The more you do it, the easier it becomes. So - get flexin'. 

Be you. No one else can do that. And the people who love you for the REAL you are the ones you want in your life anyway, right?

Don't need no fake haters in here. Let your true self shine, and the fake ones will be out of here REAL quick. Which means, more breathing room, more space to shine. Sounds like a win.
